The Book of Acts chronicles the early Christian church's growth and spread of the Gospel. It emphasizes the power of the Holy Spirit, the importance of bold evangelism, and the universality of God's salvation. Key messages include Peter's sermon at Pentecost, stressing repentance and baptism; Stephen's defense of faith before his martyrdom; Paul's dramatic conversion and subsequent missionary journeys; and the Jerusalem Council's affirmation that Gentiles need not follow Jewish law to be saved. Throughout Acts, we see themes of perseverance through persecution, the breaking down of cultural barriers, and the unstoppable nature of God's plan to reach all nations with the message of Christ.

This series of messages is a verse-by-verse exposition of the Book of Acts by Jim Osman, a pastor at Kootenai Community Church. It was preached during our Sunday Morning Worship Service. Click here for more teaching by Jim Osman.
